TERMS AND CONDITIONS / RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

General Information

T1: Parking regulations may vary by location. Please observe all posted signs in addition to these general guidelines. You agree to comply with these terms and conditions when using this parking lot.

T2: Vehicle operators must drive safely and responsibly, ensuring people's and property's safety.

Payment and Parking

T3: Before leaving your vehicle in the parking facility, you must have your valid paid parking receipt (your in-app receipt, emailed receipt, or paper receipt) for the correct lot and the correct vehicle in your possession. If you do not have a receipt for payment for the correct lot and the correct vehicle, you may not park in the lot. Unidentified or misidentified vehicles pose security risks.

T4: If a payment kiosk or mobile app malfunctions, please use the alternative payment method or exit the lot. Parking without payment will result in TOWING, BOOTING, OR CITATION, regardless of system malfunctions.

T5: Parking is at your own risk. Management is not responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles or their contents.

T6:. New sessions/payments/extensions AFTER an issued citation do not change the validity of a FAILURE TO PAY citation.

T7: Parking passes must be visibly displayed. Undisplayed passes will result in TOWING, BOOTING, OR CITATION, and disputes may not be successful.

T8: Payment must be made immediately upon entering the lot BEFORE YOU WALK AWAY FROM YOUR CAR, not upon exiting.

T9: Vehicles must be parked within a single designated parking space.

 

T10: Vehicles must not obstruct other vehicles or access areas.

 

T11: Trespassing, loitering, soliciting, dumping, littering, or public urination is prohibited. VIOLATORS WILL BE PROSECUTED TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW.

 

T12: If the payment app fails, you do not receive an electronic receipt. If your app does not allow session extensions or the kiosk does not issue a receipt, do not park in this lot. Unidentified or misidentified vehicles pose security risks.

 

T13: Parking, standing, or stopping in driveways, roundabouts, or unauthorized areas is strictly prohibited.

 

T14: Parking receipts are non-transferable between vehicles or for in/out privileges. PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE SPECIFICALLY FOR THE VEHICLE PARKED IN THE FACILITY.

 

T15: Failure to pay, underpayment, expired time, or improper parking may result in TOWING, BOOTING, OR CITATION. Failure to pay a previous citation is cause for TOWING, BOOTING, OR CITATION even if the current session is properly paid.

 

T16: Vehicles remaining after the allotted time will be TOWED, BOOTED, GIVEN A CITATION, or locked in.

 

T17: Vehicles without valid license plates will be considered abandoned and may be subject to TOWING, BOOTING, OR CITATION. Vehicles with Temporary Tags must input the Temporary Tag Number into the payment system.

 

T18: No free parking is permitted except in designated areas with clear signage indicating otherwise.

 

Additional Rules and Enforcement

 

T19: These rules are not exhaustive. Any action that compromises the parking lot's safety, security, or management or violates the property owner's rights will be enforced.

 

T20: Note: SMS opt-in or phone numbers for the purpose of SMS are NOT being shared. SMS Consent or phone numbers are not shared for the purpose of SMS with third parties or affiliates.

REFUND POLICY

General Policy

R1: ParKontrol facilities are clearly marked with appropriate signage. By parking in our enforced lots, you agree to abide by the posted Rules and Regulations at the lot and on this website.

 

R2: Our policy is to uphold the regulations of each parking facility. Therefore, refunds for parking fees, citation fees, or other charges are generally not provided. Citations will not be dismissed for violations of parking regulations, including past unpaid citations or chargebacks.

Citation and Dispute Information

 

R3: Each citation includes photographic evidence of the vehicle in violation.

 

R4: You can dispute a citation online at www.ParKontrol.com (Click Pay Ticket and follow instructions) within 7 days of receipt. Mail-in dispute instructions are available at www.ParKontrol.com/forms. We do not accept disputes by phone, email, or text. A hearing fee is assessed for all disputes that are not dismissed in their entirety. Each additional dispute on the same citation will incur additional dispute fees and additional late fees if the dispute is not dismissed in its entirety.

 

R5: A hearing fee will be charged for all disputed citations. This fee will only be refunded if the dispute is entirely dismissed. Disputes without valid reasons or supporting evidence will be denied. Providing altered evidence may result in legal action.

 

R6: Disputes initiated through credit card chargebacks for parking violations will not be accepted. In the event of non-payment, including chargebacks, the customer will be liable for a $35 late fee, any penalties imposed by the credit card company, applicable bank fees, and reasonable costs associated with collecting the outstanding balance.

Specific Refund/Dismissal Scenarios

 

R7: Refunds or citation dismissals will only be considered in cases of documented errors on our part, such as a verified system outage.

R8: No refunds or dismissals will be issued for unused parking time, incorrect license plate entry, incorrect zone entry, or special event parking fees.

R9: If an incorrect payment is made, a new, correct payment should be made immediately. A correct payment will not result in a refund of the incorrect payment but will help prevent TOWING, BOOTING, OR CITATION.

R10: Once a parking session has begun, zone or license plate information cannot be changed. If an error is noticed, a new session with the correct information must be started immediately. New sessions after a citation has been made does not change the validity of the citation.

R11: If you are unable to make proper payment for the full duration of your desired parking time, please park elsewhere.
